Lip Balm Woods
Sumire and Carlotta linger at the edge of the woods.
Gently pressuring upon their eyes, they summon mystical cascading lights that dance behind their closed lids. Creatures of the wild, this is their calling sound, their secret key to unlocking the gates of their enchanted world.
The woods are their playground, their school, their sanctuary, a magical place where they experience the glow of discovery as well as the shadows of growth.
And when the time comes for Carlotta, now poised at the threshold of change, to be ready to fly beyond the woods and into her future, she lets her spirit linger, a guardian angel watching over Sumire from afar. Their hearts would remain entwined until Sumire, too, was ready to spread her wings.
The magic of their childhood adventures will however forever remain. Because to grasp the wonder of life, we must travel back to the heart of where we once began. And suddenly, we are children again. And suddenly, standing at the edge of a forest filled with light, we understand it all.
